"Hibiscus Fantasy"  16 X 20 Oil on Linen Board

There is a beautiful hibiscus bush at the Wellfleet home we rent every summer when we go to Cape Cod.  I kept staring at those plate-sized blooms and envisioning a Georgia O'Keeffe flower painting. So, I came home and painted a giant bloom.  What fun!
