This is one of my favorite paintings from the 30 Day Challenge, "Wrap Around." This is my house with a wrap around porch and wrap around crepe myrtles. I ran outside, took the photo and came in and painted.  The crepe myrtles bloom off and on all summer in our blazing heat and are probably as old as the house which was built in the early 1920s.

It is a 9 X 12 oil and has already been purchased.  My husband and daughter are a little upset about that because they like it too!
